Kazakhstan Muay Thai team will travel to RSA in March

Kazakhstan Junior Muay Thai team will travel to the Republic of South Africa in March 2012 to participate in the tournament that is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of partnership between the two countries, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to Kazakhstan Muay Thai Federation. The team will be formed based on the results of the annual National Championship that was held on January 29 in Almaty. 300 Muay Thai fighters from nine large cities of the country, Almaty Oblast and Northern Kazakhstan Oblast took part in the championship. 46 sets of medals were awarded during the tournament. Atyrau city's Kaysar club won the most number of medials at the championship: 14 medals. Kazakhstan national Muay Thai team won three gold medals in Tashkent World Championship in the end of September 2011. The fighters also gained five silver and four bronze medals in the tournament.
