Hockey: Two Kazakhstan hockey players join All-Star team of Hungary World Championship

Kazakhstan’s defenceman Roman Savchenko and forward Roman Starchenko were named the best hockey players of the World Ice Hockey Championship Division I – Group A that was held in Budapest, Hungary, Vesti.kz reports. Japan’s defenceman Aaron Keller, Italy’s forward Patrick Iannone and Hungary’s Arpad Mikhaly also got into the TOP-5 of the World Championship. Italy’s Adam Dennis became the goalkeeper of the All-Star team. Adama Dennis was named the best goalkeeper of the World Championship Division I group A, Adam Keller became the best defenceman and Patrick Iannone – the best forward. Kazakhstan's national ice hockey team won over the Italian team in the final match and was ranked first overall in the Group and advanced into elite division.
