The current WBA and IBO champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin declared he wants to fight Sergio Martinez, a professional boxer from Argentina, who is at the top of the world ranking, Vesti.kz reports citing Boxingscene.com

Sergio Martinez (51–2–2, 28KOs) is the current Lineal, The Ring, and WBC middleweight champion.

"I want that fight very much. Everyone wants that fight, the fans, HBO, I hope we can make this fight," Golovking told Boxingscene.com.

Kazakhstan's star boxer Golovkin said that he was ready to face any elite middleweight boxer.

"I'm ready for everyone. I want to have unifications with Martinez, with Peter Quilin, with Darren Barker. I'm ready." Gennady said.

The unbeaten boxer from Kazakhstan Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin won over American boxer Curtis Stevens and retained his WBA world middleweight title on November 2. Gennady (28-0, 25KOs) ended his 28th fight at Madison Square Garden arena in New York with a technical knockout.

31-y.o. boxer from Karaganda has 28 victories in his professional career and not a single loss.

His last bout against Stevens entered the Top 10 most significant combat sports events of the week.
