Armwrestling: Kazakhstan woman wins World Armwrestling Championship in Poland

Kazakhstan wrestler Olga Shlizhevskaya has won the World Armwrestling Championship in Poland, Vesti.kz reports. The competition was held on September 1-8 in Gdynia city. More than 1 000 armwrestlers from 44 countries participated in the championship. Shlizhevskaya had no equals in the -65kg division. Olga Shlizhevskaya is a multiple champion of Kazakhstan and 15-time champion of Asia. She also won a bronze medal at the World Championship in 2009. Armwrestler Rustam Malikov from Kazakhstan became a two-time world champion in armwrestling in 2012.
