The First Parade of Newlyweds was held in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz.
About 30 just married couples said their oath in Zhas Otau Wedding Palace. Aigul Babayeva, host of Let’s Get Married! TV Show came to the Palace to congratulate the newlyweds. “Dear happy couples! I would like to congratulate you on your wedding day. I wish you happiness, mutual understanding and love. You should learn to forgive each other and you will live happily ever after. I always say that to live a life is not an easy task. Your marriage and the family that you have made today is your everyday diligence,” the People’s Actress of Kazakhstan said.
Svetlana and James Jubili were declared the most remarkable couple of the Parade. “We decided to get married in national outfits. It was my idea. I have suggested this because I am a citizen of Kazakhstan. And my future husband agreed to the ideas. In my opinion Kazakh national wedding clothes is very beautiful and the men’s outfit is very elegant,” the bride said.

The newlyweds and the couples who registered their marriages earlier took part in the Wedding Parade. “We have registered on September 1. However it so happened that somebody stole our photographer’s camera and we were left without our wedding pictures. Then we were offered to take part in the Parade. This is a good chance for us to make new photos,” Askhat Dilmukhamedov, classical wrestler, said. The athlete also said that he got acquainted with his future wife Albina during the Beijing Olympics in 2008. “I think that not only my wife, but also my children will cheer for me at the next Olympic Games,” London Olympic Games participant said.

The newlyweds traditionally headed for Astana Square straight after their registration at the Wedding Palace. The City Day was celebrated at the Square on that day. The just married couples danced waltz, participated in different contests, confessed their love to each other and homed pigeons.
