The most beautiful Kazakh girl was selected in Almaty. 20-y.o. Aygerim Kanatbayeva from Kyzylorda won the Kazakh Aruy-2013 (Kazakh Beauty-2013) pageant, Tengrinews.kz reports.
The winner studies Economics in Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt-Ata. The girl volunteers in her University and hosts different social events frequently. Ayganym Utepbergenova, who was the winner of the Kazakh Aruy-2012 title, passed the crown of the Kazakh Beauty to Aygerim.

Ayaulym Maksutova from Astana became the Vice-Miss of the pageant and Symbat Tulegenova from Semey got the title of the Second Vice-Miss.
Casting for participants aged 16-25 was held in one of Almaty night clubs in the end of January. The main requirement of the contest was knowledge of Kazakh language, because the pageant was held in Kazakh only. As the result 18 beauties from all regions of Kazakhstan advanced to the final of the pageant.

During two and half hours the girls catwalked in Kazakhstan designers’ dresses, competed in talents’ show and demonstrated their knowledge of Kazakh traditions. Some of rgw girls had a chance to sing with famous Kazakhstan singers, such as Alisher Karimov, Yerke Yesmakhan, Anel Arinova, Aygul Imanbayeva and Ali Okapov. Some of the girls performed national and Latin dances and others put up their own miniature shows with the help of actors.
Bayan Yessentayeva, producer of Kazakh Aruy beauty pageant chaired the jury that selected the most beautiful Kazakh girl. Director of Yel Arna TV channel Aygul Mukey, Gulshara Abdykalikova, ballet dancer Saule Rakhmedova, KazakhFilm president Yermek Amanshayev and fashion expert Saken Zhaksybayev were the members of the jury.
