Average cost for skiers stands at $94 at Shymbulak. The main feature of the resort is the variety of slopes ranging from slopes for children and beginners to professionals. “The Shymbulak ski pistes were certified by the International Ski Federation. Downhill skiing and giant slalom pistes are among top ten most difficult in the world,” Travel.ru wrote.
Kyrgyz Karakol skiing resort was named as one of the most popular among Russian tourists. One day's average at Karakol is only $46. “During the USSR the skiing resort was used to train the Olympic team. The slopes are good for both lovers of freeride and those who prefer groomed terrains,” the website added.
Other skiing resorts are: Logoisk in Belaruse ($49), Tsahkadzor in Armenia ($50), Chimgan in Uzbekistan ($51), Ukrainian Slavskoe skiing resort ($53), Kazakhstan's Altaiskiye Alpy ($81), Bakuriani in Georgia ($83), Bukovel in Ukrain ($83) and Gudauru in Georgia ($88).
According to the travel website, the specified costs include a room in a 2 or 3 star hotel, a dinner and a skiing pass for a day.
