16-year-old model from Kokshetau, northern Kazakhstan, Alina Anisimova has been awarded the Miss Beauty Smile title at the Miss Freedom of the World-2014 beauty pageant held in Prizren, Kosovo on August 15-31, Tengrinews reports.
Kazakhstan took part in the Miss Freedom of the World-2014 beauty pageant for the first time.
Initially, Akerke Berdirakhman from Almaty was supposed to represent Kazakhstan at the contest, however, due to certain family circumstances, she was unable to do that, and Alina Anisimova was chosen to represent Kazakhstan at the Miss Freedom of the World 2014 Instead of Akerke.
The Young Kazakh model was also a runner-up at bikini and national costume competitions of the beauty pageant.
“I learned that I was going to the competition on August 8, and my flight was on August 14. I had very little time to prepare, but the experience I gained when taking part in a number of beauty contests this year helped me represent Kazakhstan well. I did not let Kazakhstan down. I was determined to win, but I could not take part in the final because of a mistake of the manager. I had to take my return flight on August 30 or on September 2. The manager thought that the final was scheduled to August 29, and told me to take the August 30 flight. It was very sad, I shed a lot of tears over it. But, anyway, I was handed the crown. As you know, the crown is awarded only to the Top 5 participants. I am satisfied with myself success, but I am not going to stop at this, " Alina Anisimova shared.
It is not the first time Alina participated in beauty contests. Her modeling career began at Miss Kokshetau beauty pageant, where she was awarded the Second Runner-up title.
Over the past year, Alina have taken part in 8 beauty contests, and won awards at 7 of them.
The Miss Freedom of the World crown was handed to Hungarian Maria Simon this year.
Girls at age of 16 to 28 who are taller than 163 cm were eligible for participation in the competition. One of participants’ task was to make a presentation of their country, culture and traditions. Fashion shows were also part of the contest.
