Fighter planes MIG-29 and SU-27 will demonstrate elements of an air battle. Aerial stunts (skewed loop, attack heading turnover and vertical loop) will be shown by the Zhetussy aerobatic team on SU-27 aircrafts. The stunts will also be demonstrated by Sunkar team on 6 L-29 aircrafts from Balkhash aviation center. Newly acquired C-295 will drop paratroopers. The crew will also land on an unpaved runway as part of the parade. The parade will be held on May 7 at the 40th military base Otar and will be participated by 86 aircrafts of Kazakhstan Air Forces. Helicopters pilots will demonstrate their skills as well. Military-transport helicopter MI-8 will perform launches of unguided aircraft-launched rickets. The task MI-24 helicopters group is to provide fire support to assault teams. MI-26, MI-24, MI-17 and Kazakhstan-assembled EC-145 Eurocopters and Huey choppers will represent one third of the aircrafts that will take part in the Kazakhstan military parade. EC-145 Eurocopter and MI-17 will show grounding of special forces and MI-26 will perform grounding of tactical air assault forces. 86 aircrafts is the record number of planes and helicopters of Kazakhstan to be simultaneously used in a joint operation. Besides the pilots at the training site of the Guard Camp, the parade will involve the Ground Forces.
