8-year-old Alina Komissarova from the city of Karaganda in central Kazakhstan has won the Grand Prix of Mini Miss Russia-2014 that took place in Moscow on September 23, Tengrinews reports citing Noviy Vestnik.
8-year-old Alina Komissarova from the city of Karaganda in central Kazakhstan has won the Grand Prix of Mini Miss Russia-2014 that took place in Moscow on September 23, Tengrinews reports citing Noviy Vestnik.
In spite of her young age, Alina has take part in whole array of beauty contests, including Mini Miss Forest Tale, Mini Miss Kazakhstan-2013. Recently she received an invitation to participate in the Mini Miss Russia-2014.
Apart from defile in national costume and ball gown, the participants competed in a talent contest. The 8-year-old beauty had no problem with it, because she has been doing artistic gymnastics for a few years, successfully combining it with her dance classes.
Alina prepared the performance together with her mother Yuliya. They devised the choreography and the outfits. “She is very confident. She takes part in contests since the age of four and feels there like a fish in the water. Sometimes I ask her what will happen if she loses, if she would cry, and she responds that this simply cannot happen, because she is the best,” the girl’s mother Yuliya Komissarova shared.
Russian-speaking girls at age 4-17 from post-soviet countries are eligible for the contest. The jury panel of the annual contest consists of Russian Honored Master of Arts, professionals and experts in fashion, film, art and TV industries.
