Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a Decree appointing a new permanent representative of Kazakhstan in the World Tourism Organization, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s press-service.

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Spain Bakyt Dyussenbayev will combine this position with his main duties. Earlier Kazakhstan was represented in the World Tourism Organization by a former Kazakhstan Ambassador to Spain Yergali Bulegenov.

Kazakhstan government is currently working on program for development of tourism. The forecast is that Kazakhstan will be able to attract 200 million tourists annually by 2020.
