Nazarbayev meets with UN Secretary General and leaders of seven countries in Moscow

Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the leaders of Azerbaijan, Cuba, Czech Republic, Mongolia, Serbia, South Africa, Venezuela during his official two-day visit to Moscow, Russia, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of the Kazakh President.


Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the leaders of Azerbaijan, Cuba, Czech Republic, Mongolia, Serbia, South Africa, Venezuela during his official two-day visit to Moscow, Russia, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of the Kazakh President.

During the meeting, Nazarbayev and Ban Ki-moon discussed cooperation and development prospects as well as the implementation of joint projects in various areas.

Together with the President of Azerbaijan Ilkham Aliyev, Nazarbayev dwelt on the key issues related to the bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in trade and economy, investments and transport. The two leaders also exchanged views on the most acute topics on the international agenda.

The Kazakh President Nazarbayev also had a meeting with the President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro to talk over the development of the bilateral cooperation in trade and economy as well as the prospects for its expansion.

Nazarbayev and Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj considered the current state of mutual affairs and prospects of the bilateral partnership in trade. They also exchanged opinions on the current topics on the international agenda.

During the meeting with the President of Cuba Raul Castro, the sides broached the key aspects related to the strengthening of the bilateral ties in different realms.

Nursultan Nazarbayev and the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic discussed the main issues in the further development of the bilateral cooperation in trade and economy and within the frameworks of international organizations.

Czech President Milos Zeman and his Kazakh counterpart touched upon the course of implementation of the agreements reached during the last year’s visit of the Czech President to Kazakhstan. The two leaders marked the progressive development of the bilateral cooperation and expressed hopes for its further expansion.

Nursultan Nazarbayev and the South African President Jacob Zuma considered strengthening of the cooperation in politics and trade. The two sides also emphasized the need for expanding the cooperation in a number of promising areas and within the frameworks of international organizations.
