Nazarbayev left for Moscow for CES talks

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev left for Moscow to take part in trilateral negotiations on the Eurasian Economic Union, KazTAG reports. "The President left for Moscow where he will meet with Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev and President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko on November 18. The agenda includes discussion of creation of the Eurasian Economic Union in the context of the Treaties of the Common Economic Space coming into effect on January 1, 2012,” KazTAG reports from Astana airport. On November 17 Nursultan Nazarbayev is scheduled to have bilateral meetings with presidents of Russia and Belarus. Heads of the Customs Union (CU) member-states will discuss current issues of integration in the Eurasian space. Official website of the Kremlin writes that the agenda includes current issues of the CU. Special attention is to be given to joint work on transfering to the next level of integration, the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as improvement of supra-national management of integration processes. The presidents are expected to sign several documents that are crucial for further development of mutually-beneficial cooperation. The common customs territory has been formed between Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus on July 1, 2011.
