Kazakhstan’s businessmen have been invited to do business in Croatia, Tengrinews reports.

“We need your growth, your energy, because Kazakhstan is a country of social and economic growth. We are a civilised state open for investments. We are a competitive country. We are building hotels, of course, probably not as big as they are here. But, in any case, we meet the needs of tourism in Central and Northern Europe. You may also contribute to it. And your investors can make money here,” Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic said at the Kazakh-Croatian business forum in Astana on May 27.

Croatia is a country with a long history of tourism, he said. “People all over the world associate us with tourism. But we also have a processing industry and we are building ships. It is where we do our work well. Of course, we cannot compete with the best ones, but we can cope with any challenge and handle it,” Milanovic continued.

“We are open to business and everything that is legal. We are countering corruption. Therefore, we invite you to come to us and to do business in Croatia,” he concluded.

Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov, in turn, assured the Croatian delegation that Kazakhstan was also open for Croatian investors. “Kazakhstan is open to business. It is the best country in Central Asia for business. We are very serious about building the necessary environment for investments. We want you to become part of our success story. We want you to do good business and get a good return on your investments," Massimov said.
