A new Kazakhstan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam has been appointed, Tengrinews reports citing the official presidential website of Akorda.

Beketzhan Zhumakhanov was appointed the new Kazakhstan Ambassador to Vietnam by a presidential decree. He replaced Nurlan Yermekov at the position. Before the new appointment, Nurlan Yermekov, Kazakhstan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China, used to combine his duties with the position of Ambassador to Vietnam.

Last month Kazakhstan made another change in its foreign diplomatic service: Bakhyt Batyrshayev was appointed Kazakhstan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and also became the permanent representative of Kazakhstan to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
