Former head of the International Monetary Fund Dominique Strauss-Kahn will attend the 6th Astana Economic Forum in Kazakhstan, reports citing the Forum’s website.

Strauss-Kahn is on the list of speakers invited to the Forum.

The former IMF head is famous for his love affairs. His problems with law started in 2011 when he was suspected of raping a maid in New York hotel. He was arrested and spent several days in jail, but was later released on $1 million bail and was under house arrest. The case was closed when the investigators found out that the maid gave a false testimony. However, new rape accusations fell on Strauss-Kahn in France later. Last October the authorities suspended the investigation against the IMF ex-head.

The Astana Economic Forum will be held on May 22-24 and its organization will cost $2 million.
