Oil supplies from Kazakhstan to Belarus have to be jointly regulated by three countries of the Customs Union (CU): Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, RIA Novosti reports citing deputy Minister of Economy of Belarus Anton Kudassov.

Belarus has raised the issue of oil supplies from Kazakhstan several times, while Kazakhstan has not expressed any objections, but noted transportation difficulties.

"We are interested in processing Kazakhstan oil. There are all economic and technical grounds for that: most of the oil produced in Kazakhstan is rich with paraffins, that are a valuable materials for oil-chemical companies," Kudassov said.

"But this is the subject for regulation by three countries in the Common Economic Space. Thus, the decision on terms of such cooperation has to be taken by the three countries," he added.
