The Agreement between Kazakhstan and Russia on good neighborliness and alliance in the XXI century can be signed by the end of the year, Russia’s pnp.ru reports, citing Russian Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin as saying at the talks with Kazakhstan’s Senate Speaker Kairat Mami.

“Currently Russia’s Foreign Ministry is working on the Agreement on good neighborliness and alliance between Russia and Kazakhstan in the XXI century”, Mr. Naryshkin said, expressing confidence that the ties between the two nations are set to strengthen further. Besides, he expressed hope that the two sides will continue cooperation within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

Kairat Mami emphasized that the strategic cooperation between the two nations is based on friendship and good neighborliness, adding that mutual understanding between the presidents greatly contributes to the growing partnership between the two states.
