Kazakhstan figure skater Denis Ten has graced the cover of the next issue of Canadian International Figure Skating magazine, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.

The article about Denis Ten is titled 'Phoenix risen from the ashes'. In addition, the issue will include stories about the other skaters such as Canadian Patrick Chan and Swiss Stephane Lambiel, as well as interviews with the Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin.

Currently, Kazakhstan’s figure skater is in the USA, where he is working on new programs for the season.

Denis Ten’s next public performance is expected to take place in October 2014 at the Skate America, an international, senior-level figure skating competition organized by the United States Figure Skating Association.

In November, he will participate in the Trophée Éric Bompard tournament in France. Both competitions are part of the International Skating Union Grand Prix of Figure Skating.

21-y.o. Denis Ten is a Kazakhstani figure skater. He is the 2014 Olympic bronze medal winner, the 2013 Worlds silver medal winner, the 2011 Asian Winter Games champion, and a three-time national champion of Kazakhstan. He was also awarded a Breakthrough of the Year by the Agency of Sport and Physical Education of Kazakhstan.
