According to the Czech Republic embassy in Tashkent, the expedition is organized with a support from the Zlin city administration. The travelers' journey starts on June 22, 2013 in the Czech Republic. They have to cover 13 000 kilometers crossing Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. More than 500 kilometers of their rout is at over 4 000 meters above the sea level. The travelers intend to cross the Pamir Mountains and reach the height of 5 000 meters above the sea level. Jaroslav Holík has already visited the Arctic Circle and the Caucasus on his motorbike. But the Pamir Highway expedition is to be the longest and most difficult one of all. If everything goes as planed, the travelers will arrive in Tashkent on July 5, 2013.
