Tengrinews has made a list of the most expensive cars in Kazakhstan based on the data available at the county's largest car trader website Kolesa.kz. The list includes only the cars that have been custom-cleared in Kazakhstan.
2006 Rolls Royce Phantom is No.10 among the Top 10 most expensive cars in Kazakhstan. The luxury sedan is available for $350 thousand. At over 19 feet long, the Phantom handily beats a BMW 760Li by more than 2 feet in total length, and it can completely swallow a Mini between its front and rear axles. It has a 6.8 liter V12 engine with 453 horsepower and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Its interior includes the full power pack, leather seats and wood inserts. The Phantom is a large, five-seat ultra-luxury sedan. Most of today's top luxury features come standard, including HID headlights, 20-inch wheels, parking sensors, automatically closing rear doors and trunk, four-zone automatic climate control, full power accessories, an integrated communication system and a DVD-based navigation system.

Bentley Continentals occupied three positions (from the 6th to the 9th lines) in the list of the most expensive cars in Kazakhstan. The cheapest among them costs $350 thousand and the most expensive is sold for $375 thousand. Bentley Continental is equipped with a 6.0 liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine with 616 horse powers that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

2011 Rolls Royce Ghost is in the 5th place in the most expensive cars list. Although it has a 20-thousand-kilometer mileage, its price is $400 thousand. Ghost has the similar features as Phantom, except its engine is large -- 6.6 liters. The seller insists that it is the only Ghost on sale in Kazakhstan.

2009 Maybach 62S has the 4th place in the rating. The German-made car is powered by a 6.0 liter version of V12 engine manufactured by Mercedes-AMG with 620 horse powers. Its power limit is 630 horse powers. The seller wants $407 thousand for the black Maybach 62S. The car has 37 thousand kilometers on the clock.

The 3rd place among the most expensive cars is held by Bentley Flying Spur. The car has just rolled off the production line, it was released in 2013. The four-wheel-drive Flying Spur with a 6.0 liter engine costs $412 thousand. The car has 21-inch five-spoke on the wheels, wood-decorated interior and handmade central console box. Besides, it is equipped with the original audio system Naim for Bentley.

Mid-engined supercar Ferrari 458 is in the 2nd place in the list. The price makes $450 thousand. It is not brand new, but the mileage makes only 500 kilometers. The car is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine derived from a shared Ferrari/Maserati design, producing 570 horse powers. The Ferrari's 0-100 km/h acceleration is 3.4 seconds. The car has an original body kit, leather interior and air suspension that allows to control the clearance.

And finally, the most expensive car in Kazakhstan is a 2013 Bugatti Veyron. The new car is in Almaty. Under its hood the Bugatti has a 8.0-litre W16 cylinder engine. The large volume of the engine and its multipoint injection system enables it to generate 1000 horsepowers. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The price of the Bugatti Veyron is $2.5 million.

There are some interesting cars that did not enter the list of the Top10 most expensive cars in Kazakhstan. A 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is in the 11th place and costs $350 thousand. The gull-wing door is its special feature.

A 1989 Zil 117 is a soviet luxury sedan that drove officials. The owner wants $320 thousand, pointing out that the car is in a perfect condition.

There is also another soviet rarity on sale - GAS M13 made in 1978, also known as Chaika. This luxury car was based on a Lexus design. The external appearance of the car is original, but the inside has a modern tiptronic transmission, full power pack, climate control and even an onboard computer with a navigation system.

Tengrinews made a similar rating in 2011. Then the most expensive cars were representatives by German and British producers, and the 1st place went to a grand Soviet-made rare ZIS-110B cabriolet made 1947 that cost $500 thousand.
