Kazakhstan and Luxembourg to launch flights

Kazakhstan and Luxemburg have signed an intergovernmental agreement on launching air communication, Press Service of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport and Communications reported November 22. According to the Press Service, the agreement was signed November 21 following the talks of Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Transport Azat Bekturov and Luxembourgian Minister of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure Claude Wiseler. The agreement is in line with the applicable European legislation and opens opportunities for all European airlines to launch flights between Luxembourg and Kazakhstan, the press release reads. Besides, an MoU was signed enabling Cargolux, a leading cargo airline worldwide, to continue regular cargo flights between Kazakhstan and Luxembourg. The Luxembourgian side expressed its readiness to offer short-term trainings on flights safety to Kazakhstan’s specialists.
