US State Department upbeat on partnership with Kazakhstan

US State Department is upbeat on prospects of partnership with Kazakhstan, reports, citing the Press Service of the Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry. 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Kazakhstan and the USA was on the agenda of bilateral political consultations.

Today, March 25, Kanat Saudabayev, State Secretary of Kazakhstan, received Robert Blake, US Assistant Secretary of State.

“Robert Blake expressed satisfaction with the wide-scaled program of cooperation with Kazakhstan, a reliable partner of the USA in Central Asia. (…) Mr. Blake expressed gratitude on behalf of US people for assistance and support to international efforts to stabilize Afghanistan. Especially for the economic assistance and educational program for this nation”, Press Service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

“Celebrating the 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties between our nations, we are upbeat on further prospects of strategic partnership between the USA and Kazakhstan”, Press Service quoted Mr. Blake as saying.
According to Mr. Kanat Saudabayev, political consultations on regional security, Kazakhstan’s chairmanship of the OIC, Kazakhstan’s growing role in facilitating the dialogue between East and West, global food security is a sign of strengthened strategic partnership between the two nations”, Press Service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
