Further measures to enhance religious stability was discussed at the meeting of the Security Council today, July 22. Head of the President's Adiminstration Aslan Mussin gave a speech at the meeting.

“The President instructed law-enforcing and other state authorities to identify and take immediate action against religiou extremist manifestations. Akims (Mayors) of Astana, Almaty and oblasts have to enhance educational and preventive works, control compliance of religious unions with the legislation currently in effect. Large scope of practical tasks has been given to the Agency for Religion,” the President's website writes.
