Most expensive ticket for Sting's concert in Astana to cost $700

Famous singer Sting will perform in Astana on July 4 on the occasion of the capital's birthday. The most expensive ticket for his concert will cost 100 thousand tenge (around $700), Tengrinews.kz reports citing the website of Astana events. Sting's concert called Symphonicity will start at 7.00 p.m. at the state cycle track Saryarka (on Kabanbai batyr street). Symphonicity will include the singer's most famous hits adapted for performing with a symphonic orchestra. Tickets will also be available at the cost of 10, 25 or 50 thousand tenge ($68, $172 or $342). The cost of VIP tickets will be 100,000 tenge ($685). The event timed to Kazakhstan capital's birthday will be visited by the frequenter of top music charts like Mr.Black Star Timati, nominees for Muz-TV prize Gradusy band, Ukrainian Quest Pistols, hot-tempered Arash, British romantic singer Jay Sean, Italian DJ Alex Gaudino, as well as Kazakhstan popular singers Yerbolat Kudaibergen, Dinara Sultan, Lido, Baiterek and Ne Vsyo Skazano bands. In 2009 the 11th anniversary of Astana was attended by a famous tenor Placido Domingo. Back then the tickets cost almost the same, from 30 to 150 thousand tenge ($200-$1,000).
