Kazakhstan will keep helping Japan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the message distributed by press-service of Kazakhstan Ministry of Culture. Kazakhstan Culture Minister Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed met with Ambassador of Japan Yuzo Harada.

“We grieve with you. We love Japanese people a lot and we will always be by your side,” the press-service cited Kul-Mukhammed as saying to the diplomat. Yuzo Harada thanked Kazakhstan people for their support in this difficult time for Japan and assured that Japanese people will become stronger and closer to each other.

Kazakhstan Minister said that one more series of charity events will be held in Almaty to support the victims of the earthquake and tsunami. “Boris Eiffman's ballet Red Jizelle will perform on June 30 in Abai State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater and a concert of Kazakhstan State Academic Symphonic Orchestra and Baikadamov State Choral Chapel will be held on July 1 in Zhambyl Philharmonic Hall. All the funds raised from these events will be given to the Red Cross Society in Japan,” the press-service wrote.

A charity concert was held in Kazakhstan concert hall in Astana some time ago. All the raised money were sent to Japanese Red Cross Society.
