The students will be able to earn from $1.5 to $3 thousand during summer period, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Mojazarplata.kz.

18-year-old girls earn $6.92/hour working in services and trade in the US, while the guys get $7.22/hour for the same job. The salaries are better in the Netherlands, where girls get paid $16.92/hour and guys earn $18.62/hour.

Girls and guys get equal salaries in Great Britain and Germany: working in the sphere of services and trade, they can earn $16.8 and $15.3 per hour respectively. The least paying country is Kazakhstan, where young people are paid $1.69/hour.

The research revealed that waiters, sales assistants and couriers are among the most popular non-qualified jobs in Kazakhstan. In the last 10 years USA, Canada and Germany became the top countries offering summer jobs for students. Acording to statistics, over 50 thousand students from Kazakhstan go to work in these countries annually.

An average salary of young employees makes $7-10 per hour, which brings their income to $1.3 to $1.7 thousand per month if they work 40-hours a week. Net of the cost of visa, food ($200 - $300 a month), accommodation ($200 - $400 a month) and the initial payment to tourist agency, students retain 65 percent of their summer work earnings.
