Massimov has 10 thousand followers in Twitter

Over 10 thousand users are following Russian-Kazakh language Twitter of Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov. “My congratulations to all 10,000 followers!” tweeted Massimov. However, compared to the accounts of foreign leaders, popular singers, actors, politicians and journalists, 10,000 followers is not that many. For example, US President Barack Obama has over 9.5 million followers, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is read by 423,549 people, Russian pop-start Dima Bilan has 44 thousand followers and TV-host Tina Kandelaki has 104,483 of them. On the other hand, compared to Dmitry Mdvedev who is friends with only 25 users, Karim Massimov follows 100 blogs. Massimov's “friends” include US President Barack Obama, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, President of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva, head of IMF Christine Lagarde chief editor of Echo of Moscow radio station Aleksei Venediktov and Russian blogger Aleksei Navalnyi. Karim Massimov signed in Twitter and Facebook at the end of March 2011. He was the first official person in Kazakhstan who created accounts in social networks.
