Access to popular LiveJournal blogging service became available for Kazakhstan users on Sunday. The website can now be accessed freely, without anonimizers, several Internet-users told Interfax-Kazakhstan.

The agency has not yet obtained any comments from state authorities on this issue. The access to LiveJournal was closed for Kazakhstan Internet users this August. Back than Kazakhstan authorities blocked the access to over 20 Internet resources suspected of promotion of terrorism and extremism and spread of calls for terrorist attacks.

In September Kazakhstan Ministry of Communications and Information stated that it is ready to unblock LiveJournal only after deletion of banned content. In the end of October Kazakhstan General Prosecutor's office stated that it detected 400 websites containing extremist materials. Access was blocked to 150 of them in Kazakhstan.
