A dairy farm with 750 cows has opened in Almaty Oblast on January 17, Tengrinews reports citing BNews.kz.
Akim of Almaty Oblast Amandyk Batalov participated in the inauguration of the high productivity dairy farm and a dairy plant with advanced technologies called Medeu Commerce LLP in the village Kemertogan. The facility is built in the framework of Kazakhstan's state-run program for development of agriculture Agribusiness 2020. It is also part of the regional map of industrialization.
According to the director of Medeu Commerce Adil Medeuov, the design capacity of the farm is 4,8 thousand tons of dairy products per year. With this, there are plans to increase the production of raw milk to 14 thousand liters per day and beef to an average of 72 thousand tons per year.
It is worth noting that the new greenhouse and dairy farm are built as part of the food belt development program of the city of Almaty.
Also, in the village of Isayevo of Yeltai rural district, a modern greenhouse farm was opened in the farm of Madmar. The project was implemented within the framework of the state programs Business Road Map 2020 and Agribusiness 2020.
The area of the new greenhouse is 6 hectares. The design capacity can reach 2 thousand tons of vegetables per year. Innovative Dutch technologies are introduced into the greenhouse complex.
