Kazakhstan wages eight times higher than in Tajikistan

Average wages in Kazakhstan is eight times higher than in Tajikistan, Mojazarplata reports.

Average wages of Kazakhstan citizens in March made $595. Average wages in Tajikistan in the Q1 of 2011 made around $70. Russian citizens earn around $805, which is 35% higher than the wages in Kazakhstan.

Average wages in Kazakhstan is 35% higher than average monthly salary in Azerbaijan ($440). Ukrainians earn much less: $300. Average wages of Belarus citizens is $317.

Citizens of Uzbekistan earn a bit more. According to the Uzbek official statistics commission, average wages in the country is $326 - 55% lower than the average salary in Kazakhstan.

As per Kyrgyzstan National Statistics Commission, average nominal wages in Kyrgyzstan is $158, which is 73% lower than Kazakhstan's average.

Official monthly salary in Turkmenistan is $200, this is almost three times less than Kazakhstan wages.
