169 Kazakhstan tourists who are stuck in Antalya because of the bankruptcy of Sky Airlines will be transported to Aktobe by Turkish airline Pegasus, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports citing Kazakhstan Tourist Association (KTA).

According to KTA, Kazakhstan ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev has reached an agreement with Turkey that Kazakhstan tourists will be transported by Pegasus airline.

“The first flight with 164 adults and 5 children have taken off today. The airplane is flying to Aktobe. Two more flights will be headed for Almaty (202 passengers) and Astana (211 passengers) tomorrow,” the message states.

Besides, KTA said that “there is hope that the charter flights of the bankrupt Turkish company Sky Airlines will be resumed by another airline”.

Around 1,000 Kazakhstan citizens could not leave Antalya, Turkey, because of the Turkish air company's bankruptcy . Part of them has already been transported back by Kazakhstan Emergency Situations Ministry.
