Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has expressed condolences to Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev over the plane crash near Almaty that claimed lives of 21 people, the Kremlin’s press-service writes.

“Russian President has passed the words of sincere compassion and support to the families of the victims,” the message states.

Meanwhile, Russian rescuers are ready to render support to Kazakhstan at any time. “Russian rescuers are with you in this difficult moment and are ready to render support. Let us know whether we can be of any help,” Russian Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov wrote in the telegram to his Kazakhstan colleague Vladimir Bozhko (RIA Novosti).

Earlier Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed condolences to the families of the crash victims.

Kazakhstan Minister of Transport and Communications Askar Zhumagaliyev posted in his Twitter: “I am expressing sincere condolences and words of compassions to the families of all the victims of the CRJ 200 LR plane crash”.
