Naiza motor boat of the border service of Kazakhstan National Security Commission staved in when navigating Kazakhstan part of the Caspian Sea, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports.

"On June 27 Naiza border service boat staved in when navigating the water area of the Caspian Sea. The crew was evacuated," press-secretary of the national Security Commission's border service Larissa Dmitryuk told the agency on Monday, July 2.

The cause of the accident is being investigated. "The boat was damaged by some object. The investigation is in process," press-secretary said. Dmitryuk also refuted the versions of several media outlets saying that the boat sank. "Nothing has sank. The technical works are currently in process," she said.
