More than a thousand people have singed an online petition demanding the arrest of the British citizen accused of the corrupting children in Uralsk, Tengrinews reports. Peter Baruch was taken into custody after the police found pornographic photos of children on his computer. The youngest “model” was only 12 y.o. When the British saw the police he tried destroying his notebook by pouring vodka on it and his memory sticks and baking them in a microwave. He is charged with Production and distribution of child pornography and engaging minors in pornographic events punishable with 2 to 8 years in prison in Kazakhstan. Two security guards were fired from Chagala hotel for professional misconduct after the British citizen was found corrupting minors while living in the hotel in Uralsk. The initiator of the petition stressed the fact that Baruch was walking free with his passport in hand after the court ruled that the evidence (photos of naked girls) were obtained by the police unlawfully. “We are all parents and we have children of our own, so we demand a thorough and objective investigation and the pretrial arrest of Peter Baruch, because he is dangerous to public and more importantly to our children,” the message said. The petition has been submitted to the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of the Interior of Kazakhstan.
