Militant from Kazakhstan who was apprehended in Chechnya turned out to be a citizen of Pavlodar oblast, Interior Department of Urus-Martan region of Chechnya told

According to Interior Department, the apprehended Kazakhstan resident Muskayev, born in 1974, is a citizen of Gryaznovka village of Pavlodar oblast.

Police apprehended Muskayev on November 3 in Gekhi area of Urus-Martan region in suspicion of participation in an illegal armed group. According to law-enforcement authorities, the militant was taking part in the criminal group of Shamil Amayev from August 2000 to January 2001.

Earlier another citizen of Pavlodar oblast got into the list of suicide bombers prepared for terrorist attacks in Russia. Special services announced the names of 52 militants potentially ready for terrorist attacks in any part of Russia. The list contained Assanali Zhekebayev, 35. According to Interior Department of Pavlodar oblast, he has been internationally wanted since 2009.
