Large number of armament discovered during search of suspects of the murder of two policemen in Almaty

A large number of armament was discovered during a search of the suspects of the murder of two sergeants of Almaty patrol police, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of Almaty Interior Department. “Two Makarov guns, one Kalashnikov gun and a lot of ammunition were discovered during the search. The suspects are currently being checked for implication in other crimes,” the Department's message states. Interior Department is reporting of several suspects, but their exact number is not unveiled. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that on November 8 unknown criminals shot two patrolling policemen in Almaty. Sergeant Maksat Dabylov died immediately and his colleague sergeant Galymzhan Abdirov died in an ambulance car on the way to the hospital. On November 16 law-enforcement authorities confirmed the information on apprehension of the suspects.
