A woman from Kazakhstan was arrested in one of the banks in Aspen, USA, for thieving around $17 thousand, Aspen Daily News reports. Elvira Gumarova, 22, published fake car-sale ads on the Internet. The interested puchasers were then redirected to a fake eBay website. The money from the 'sales' was transferred to the account of Sarah Cohen. The money was later withdrawn from this account by Elvira Gumarova. Police picked up the trail of the woman after several 'customers' complained about trying to buy goods at her fake website. Gumarova's case is currently being investigated. Her bond was set at $12.750. Pre-trial hearing is scheduled for April 4, 2011. The woman arrived to the United States in July, 2009.
