The father of Kazakhstan student Azamat Tazhayakov apprehended in Boston -- Atyrau Maslikhat (local representative body) deputy Amir Ismagulov -- has informed that FBI is going to review the Boston bombings case, Ak Zhaiyk writes. According to Ismagulov, FBI is currently re-interrogating 6 witnesses. He also says that the American journalists understand that his son is innocent. “Not only us, but American journalists also say that they don’t see any logic in the accusations against our boys (Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev) and how they could obstruct the investigation. They say that if my son Azamat and his friend Dias had wanted to obstruct the investigation, they would have opened the laptop and deleted all information related to the case. Our sons did not even open the laptop,” Ismagulov said. Upon request of the parents of the two Kazakhstan students, the backpack and all its content will be sent for a new check to define whether it has any relation to the case, he said. Earlier Tengrinews.kz reported that the two 19-y.o. Kazakhstan students are accused of conspiring to destroy evidences in the Boston bombings case. The students may be sentenced to 5 years in jail and a penalty of $250 thousand. The students confessed that they took the backpack and the laptop. The evidences was later found at a waste dump. FBI believes that “they took the backpack from Dzhokhar Tsarnayev’s room after they heard on the news that Dzhokhar was suspected of committing the terrorist attack.”
