They include abuse of power, large scale appropriation or embezzlement of entrusted property, financing of activities of an organized criminal group, transnational crime organization, as well as collection, storage, distribution of property and establishment of financing channels, fraud, etc.

Four women got on Interpol's wanted list of Kazakhstan citizens. They include former chief accountant of Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Prognosis (KIMEP) Yelena Danilova. She is accused of embezzlement of 14.2 million tenge ($97 thousand) from the university. However, she was apprehended in UAE in November 2011.

Four former Kazakhstan citizens with criminal backgrounds got their second passports in France and Germany and another two in Russia. One of them is accused of fraud and the others of crimes related to threat to life or health.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan law-enforcement authorities are searching for six foreign citizens via the Interpol. They include citizens of Pakistan, China, Moldova, Greece, Israel and Russia. The Financial Police has announced that 55-y.o. Moldavian businessman Sergey Kornegrutsy escaped from Atyrau prison. President of KazPolMunai was imprisoned for illegal entrepreneurship. Another criminal deceived 800 Kazakhstan citizens for the total of 18.5 million tenge ($126 thousand). The Interpol's wanted list of Kazakhstan citizens is somewhat shrinking, as the list contained 34 people in January 2012.
