Bombardier to expand into Kazakhstan market

Bombardier, a Canadian multinational aerospace and transportation company, plans to expand into the Kazakhstan market, Tengrinews reports citing the Akorda press office. During his visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Nazarbayev met with the CEO of Bombardier Pierre Beaudoin to discuss opportunities and future cooperation in the Kazakhstani transport manufacturing sector. “The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that the growing economy of Kazakhstan and developing transportation infrastructure of the country offer excellent opportunities for the Canadian company,” the press office reports. Bombardier is already engaged in talks with their potential partners in Kazakhstan. “Bombardier always sets long term goals when entering a new country,” Pierre Beaudoin said. The CEO shared the company's plans to help develop the human potential of Kazakhstan and set up service centers that will provide services to its local enterprises. In addition, Beaudoin expressed willingness to cooperate with Kazakhstan in aeronautical engineering and rolling stock manufacturing in future. Bombardier's transportation sector has 64 production and engineering sites in 26 countries and 19 service centers. The company is headquartered is in Montreal, Canada and it is listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability World and North America indexes.
