Hungarian comedies to be screened in Almaty during spring holiday

From Hungary With Love Film Festival of Heart Comedies will be held in Almaty on March 21-26, Tengrinews.kz reports. Consulate General of Hungary and Oleg Boretsky’s Movie Club are the organizers of the Festival. This is the third From Hungary With Love Film Festival of Hungary’s heart comedies that is held in Kazakhstan. Hungarian movies, made over the last few years and popular in Hungary and abroad will be screened as part of the event. Two animations for adults are the unique feature of this year's Festival. According to Boretskiy, a famous film critic of Kazakhstan, comic and ironic movies about generous Hungarian temper and lifestyle that will pass on the spring spirit to the audience will be screened in Almaty in Caesar Cinema (50, Furmanov Street). The organizers said that there would be a raffle of souvenirs and memorable gifts after each show. The Magyars have a big heart is a slogan of the Festival. Gloomy Sunday, Fluke, The District , Question in Details, Immigrants (L.A. Dolce Vita) and 6:3 movies will be screened as part of the Festival. The movies will have a Russian voice-over or Russian subtitles. One ticket cost is 300 tenge ($2). A Festival of Japanese Films was held in Almaty in March. Cinema-goers were offered five movies in different genres in Japanese with Russian subtitles then.
