12-y.o. Zhansaya Abdumalik is a chess player from Kazakhstan who will soon become the youngest International Grandmaster of Kazakhstan. Despite her young age, Zhansaya won the following titles and awards:

- Silver medal in U-12 Girls category at the World Youth Chess Championship, Slovenia

- Zhansaya Abdumalik completed her final norm for Women Grandmaster at age of 12 years 5 months and 15 days, making her the second youngest WGM in history (awaiting official certificate )

- Fourth among adults in the Singapore Chess Tournament

- Gold medal at Brazil Chess Tournament (four times world chess champion)

- The youngest student of Kazakh-British Technical University (holds an eduction scholarship)

- Gold medal in U20 Girls category at the ASEAN International Chess Championship, Indonesia

At present day Zhansaya Abdumalik is the top women U14 in Asia, the top women U14 player in the World, and her rating as of January 2013 is 2169 ELO points. She holds the Woman International Master (WIM) (2011) and Woman FIDE Master (WF) (2010)
