President laid flowers to the Monument to Motherland Defenders

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the ceremony of laying of flowers to the Monument to the Motherland Defenders and congratulated veterans on the 67th anniversary of the Victory in the World War II on May 9, 2012. The President observed a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of Kazakhstan citizens who died in the World War II. Following the ceremony of laying the flowers, the President visited a tent camp set up at the square where he met and talked to the veterans.
