The Myn Bala (Thousand Boys) movie by Akhan Satayev is about Kazakh boys who stood up for their Motherland in a battle against a Jungar tribe. 22,200 people participated in the casting for the movie. The main character, a corageous teenager named Sartai, despite of his young age, will gather an army of 1,000 boys and fight the enemy. Overcoming the loss of family, having felt the magic of first love and bounds of true friendship, he grows up to be a brave warrior and becomes one of the greatest heroes of his nation.
