Diyas has 1290 points after getting into the second round at the WTA Beijing 2014. In the first round, the Kazakh tennis player beat her Czech opponent Klára Koukalová. In the second round, Diyas lost to Angelique Kerber from Germany.
Another tennis player from Kazakhstan Yaroslava Shvedova, too, went up in the WTA rating to the 67th place. Yuliya Putintseva’s rating dropped to the 122 place. Galina Voskoboyeva who is not competing at the moment lost 69 places and landed on the 260th place of the WTA rating.
Earlier, the best result Zarina Diyas had was the 39th place in the rating that she got after making it into the second round at the Wuhan Open on September 29, 2014.
