Athletes from 13 countries (Austria, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Romania, Italy, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan), including the World Cup and European champions, took part in the competition.
Austria’s ski jumper Stefan Kraft became winner of the Cup. His compatriot David Zauner was ranked second and Poland’s Klemens Muranka was in the third place in the general ranking of the tournament.
Kazakhstan's Sabirzhan Muminov was the best among Kazakhstan jumpers. He was ranked 33rd. Results of the competition is available here.
Kazakhstan sport officials announced that there was a possibility that a stage of the Ski Jumping World Cup would be held in Almaty last year. Sergey Zubkov, Russia’s national team coach praised the quality of Almaty ski-jumping stadium, he said that they didn’t have such a similarly advanced ski-jumping facility in Russia.
