Kazakhstan wrestler Gyuzel Manyurova won the bronze medal in -72kg category of female wrestling at the London Olympics, Vesti.kz reports. 34-y.o. Manyurova won over Chinese Jiao Wang. The first period finished with 1:1 score. In the second period Kazakhstan wrestler won 4:1 and scored the victory after a successful third round. Kazakhstan track-and-field athlete Margarita Matsko failed to get into final of 800m event. Matsko was third in her round, however it was not enough to get into the final even by additional time. Two more participants showed worse result than Matsko, but got into the final because of the first two positions. Manyurova’s medal is the ninth one for Kazakhstan national team. Six gold medals were won by cyclist Aleksandre Vinokourov, weightlifters Zulfiya Chinshanlo, Maiya Maneza, Svetlana Podobedova and Ilya Ilyin and athlete Olga Rypakova. Bronze was won by Greco-Roman fighter Daniyal Gadzhiyev and boxer Marina Volnova.
