Olympics: Kazakhstan ranked 7th by Olympic medal count after 2nd day Olympic medal count

Kazakhstan national Olympic team is ranked 7th by medal count after the second day of the Olympics-2012 for the first time in the history of the independent Kazakhstan, Vesti.kz reports. Kazakhstan athletes won two gold medals. The first one was won by Kazakhstan cyclist Aleksandre Vinokourov and the second one by -53 kg wight-lifter Zulfiya Chinshanlo. China is ranked first with 12 medals. It is followed by the United States with 11 medals and Italy with 7 medals.
