Olympics: Adilbek Niyazymbetov reached semifinals of boxing tournament

Adilbek Niyazymbetov, Kazakhstan light heavy (81kg) boxer, has reached the semifinals of the London Olympics boxing tournament by winning over Iran's Ehsan Rouzbahani, Tengrinews.kz reports. The Kazakhstan boxer who is training in Mangistau School of Boxing beat his rival with the score of 13:10 (4:3, 5:4, 4:3). Kazakhstan Khabar TV channel was broadcasting the match live. Earlier Kazakhstan boxer won over Ecuador’s Carlos Gongora Mercado (13:5) in 1/8 finals of the tournament. Adilbek Niyazymbetov is 23. He is a silver prize-winner of the 2011 Baku World Championship. He was born in Nukus (the capital of the autonomous Republic of Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan.)
